“Meet the two toughest cops in town. One's just a little smarter than the other!”

Someone has already tried to kill San Diego cop Mike Dooley (Jim Belushi), and the drug dealer behind it is still out there. A "friend" hands him a drug-sniffing German shepherd named Jerry Lee, who works only when he feels like it and chews through Dooley's car, house and love life in the meantime. Rod Daniel plays the partnership as a long argument between two stubborn animals, one of whom has a bark.
