K-PAX

“Change the way you look at the world.”

A man in a New York psychiatric hospital says he is Prot (Kevin Spacey), a visitor from a planet called K-PAX, and he describes it with the calm of someone giving directions to a neighbor's house. Dr. Mark Powell (Jeff Bridges) sets out to prove it's a delusion, working through Prot's answers one session at a time. Iain Softley sets the stakes inside the doctor himself, since the more Powell checks the story, the less sure he is of his own explanations.
