Kaazhcha

In Kerala in 2004, a boy named Pavan (Yash Gawli) turns up among the beggars, having lost everything in the Gujarat earthquake. Madhavan (Mammootty), a film projectionist, dislikes him at first. Then he takes the boy home, and Blessy lets Pavan settle slowly into the family's days. Beneath it runs a plain question of belonging: whether a household chosen by chance can be a family a government is willing to leave alone.
