Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa

Sunil (Shah Rukh Khan) is stuck in a middle-class family that wants a steady job from him, but he would rather play with a music group, and his father has made his disapproval clear. He is also in love with the band's lead singer, Ana (Suchitra Krishnamoorthi), who treats him as a good friend and nothing more. Kundan Shah's film is about wanting someone who likes you, which is not the same as wanting you back.
