Kabukicho Love Hotel

Inside a love hotel in Tokyo's red-light district, a group of employees and visitors cross paths over one stretch of time. Toru Takahashi (Shota Sometani) and Saya Iijima (Atsuko Maeda) are among the people whose stories run into one another, each of them arriving with a private reason for being there. Ryuichi Hiroki keeps the camera close and unhurried, letting the rooms and corridors stand for the lives passing through them.
