“Ka Ka Ka Po.”

Two strangers end up on opposite sides of a thin apartment wall in Chennai, and nobody can say yet why either of them is so alone. Kathir (Vijay Sethupathi) has just come out of prison and drifts back to small-time rowdy work, while Yazhini (Madonna Sebastian) has run from her old life to start a new one. Nalan Kumarasamy, remaking a South Korean film, keeps the camera on their ordinary neighbourly exchanges and lets the comedy come from there.
