“For a better Tomorrow”

Ashwatthama (Amitabh Bachchan) has outlived the Kurukshetra war by six thousand years and now waits, in the dystopian city of Kashi in 2898 AD, for a last chance at redemption. Standing in his way is Bhairava (Prabhas), a wisecracking bounty hunter worn out by the work, while SUM-80 (Deepika Padukone) carries a child believed to be Vishnu's final incarnation. Nag Ashwin sets Hindu scripture inside a future of ruin and spectacle.
