Charlie Carbone (Jerry O'Connell) is a New York hairstylist who has never been able to say no to his best friend Louis Booker (Anthony Anderson), a wanna-be musician. When the mob gets involved, the two are sent to Australia with $50,000 to hand over to Salvatore Maggio (Christopher Walken), and director David McNally sends them off on the job together. The money ends up in the pouch of a wild kangaroo, and both men are suddenly on the hook for it.
