Kanthaswamy

Kandasamy (Vikram) is a CBI officer who has a second life as Kanthaswamy, a masked vigilante who takes on corruption on behalf of people with nothing. Susi Ganesan, who also wrote it, builds the 2009 Tamil action film around that double identity, with Shriya Saran as Subbulakshmi and Vadivelu in the comic role of Thengakadai Thenappan. Underneath the chases and the crowds is a plain question of who the poor can turn to when the law will not help them.
