Karthik Calling Karthik

“a call will change everything.”

Karthik (Farhan Akhtar) is a timid office clerk, bullied at work, who gets a phone call before dawn from a stranger who knows everything about him. The voice tells him how to dress, what to say and when to stand up for himself, and the changes start to show, even in how Shonali Mukherjee (Deepika Padukone), a co-worker, looks at him. Vijay Lalwani's story has Karthik answering that phone every morning, and he is no longer sure whose life he is living.
