Kate & Leopold

“If they lived in the same century, they'd be perfect for each other.”

In present-day New York, Stuart Besser (Liev Schreiber) finds a portal through time and pulls back a 19th-century nobleman, Leopold (Hugh Jackman), to prove it exists. His ex-girlfriend Kate McKay (Meg Ryan) doesn't believe any of it, yet she ends up responsible for showing the stranger the 21st century. James Mangold gives them a slow education in each other, and the more she teaches him, the less she can keep her distance.
