Katyn

“The untold story of the crime Stalin could not hide”

In September 1939, Germany invades Poland from the west, and sixteen days later the Red Army crosses the eastern border. Thousands of Polish officers and officials are taken prisoner, and the women who love them, Anna (Maja Ostaszewska) among them, wait for word that does not come. Andrzej Wajda tells it through the families left behind, in a drama that Andrzej Mularczyk's book supplied and the 1940 Katyn massacre made necessary.
