“Love is a force you can't control.”

Natalie (Elisabeth Harnois), the most popular girl in her class, senses that the new boy at school is hiding a secret, and she notices it before she notices she likes him. Keith (Jesse McCartney) ignores her at first, then becomes a friend who teaches her to take what life offers. Todd Kessler adapts Ron Carlson's short story, and Natalie lets her standing slip away, still unsure what Keith is keeping from her.
