A railway café on a Kerala roadside is where each of the film's ten stories starts, with a traveler stepping off a train from somewhere else. Johnykutty (Dileep), Leon (Prithviraj Sukumaran) and Ramesh (Suresh Gopi) are among those who stop there, each carrying a different life, and each segment has its own director, among them Shaji Kailas. Together they show what it costs ordinary people to leave home, to stay together, and to keep up with a changing country.
