Dave Lizewski (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), a comic-book obsessed teenager, decides to become a superhero without powers, sewing a green wetsuit to fight crime as Kick-Ass. He stumbles into the world of two vigilantes: the ruthless assassin Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage) and his daughter Mindy (Chloë Grace Moretz), a twelve-year-old hit girl. Dave's amateur heroics collide with their professional violence, and he discovers what it costs to play the part.
