Kidnapped: Elizabeth Smart

At fourteen, Elizabeth Smart (Self) is taken from her bedroom in Salt Lake City by a man claiming to be God. Detective Steevan Glover (Self) hunts through Utah while Smart is held captive, forced to walk in public under a veil, her abductor Brian David Mitchell controlling her every move. Sanderson assembles archive footage and Smart's own account to show how speaking what happened changed what stood between her and the people trying to bring her home.
