Dr. Chris Cooper (Kevin McDonald), a pharmaceutical scientist, develops a pill that makes people remember their happiest memory. The drug is a hit, and the same five performers play nearly everyone who takes it, sells it, or tries to stop it. Kelly Makin directs the Kids in the Hall's only feature, and Chris is a man who has made the whole city feel better and cannot find a way to feel the same himself.
