Kids on the Slope

Kaoru Nishimi (Yuri Chinen) is a top student, quiet and careful, and a stranger to the jazz that holds his new classmate's whole attention. That classmate is Sentaro Kawabuchi (Taishi Nakagawa), a delinquent with a kind streak under the bluster. Takahiro Miki builds the film around the two of them, each learning from the other's music, and what grows between them is a friendship neither one expected.
