“Makes you shiver & shake!”

Dr. Paul Eswai (Giacomo Rossi Stuart) rides into a small European village in the early 1900s, called to examine a body, and finds the locals terrified of a murderous little girl's ghost. Monica Schuftan (Erika Blanc), a young woman with ties to the place, and Insp. Kruger (Piero Lulli) are drawn in beside him. Mario Bava, working in saturated gothic color, fills the village with an unease that never lets up.
