Kill Your Darlings

“A true story of obsession and murder.”

Allen Ginsberg (Daniel Radcliffe) arrives at Columbia in 1944 wanting a voice of his own, and he finds it in the orbit of Lucien Carr (Dane DeHaan), a restless classmate who has already gathered Jack Kerouac and William Burroughs around him. John Krokidas, in his first feature, follows the circle as it forms and as a murder draws them all together. For Allen, belonging means staying close to Lucien, whatever that closeness costs.
