“I did it for love”

Márcia (Márcia Rodrigues) is a rich, dissatisfied young woman who uses her husband's trip away to go to the family house in Petrópolis. An old friend, Regina (Renata Sorrah), comes to visit, and the two settle into the empty afternoon. Júlio Bressane cuts between them and a man in a Rio apartment who has just razored his parents and gone off to a film, leaving Márcia alone with her boredom.
