Killer Heat

“Jealousy can drive anyone to the edge.”

Nick Bali (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is a private investigator living abroad, and he takes a job in Crete looking into a death that the powerful Vardakis family would prefer to leave alone. Philippe Lacôte sets the case among relatives whose jealousies run deep, with Richard Madden and Shailene Woodley as the dead man's brother and wife. Nick works the island under a flat white sun, the hours stretching out, the glare bleaching everything he looks at.
