Killing Season

“The purest form of war is one on one.”

Years after the Bosnian War, Benjamin Ford (Robert De Niro), an American veteran, has settled alone in the remote Smoky Mountains. Emil Kovac (John Travolta), a Serbian veteran, arrives in that same wilderness, and the two men meet, the old war still sitting between them. Mark Steven Johnson stages their clash in the cold, empty woods, where Ford and Kovac stand apart in the open winter air.
