Killing Zoe

“We go in. We get what we want. We come out.”

Zed (Eric Stoltz) is an American safecracker who flies to Paris to meet his old friend Eric (Jean-Hugues Anglade). Eric's gang has picked Bastille Day for a raid on the one bank in the city that stays open, and Zed signs on. He spends the night before with a call girl named Zoe (Julie Delpy), then falls in with a crew that runs on heroin. Roger Avary stages it as one long night, loud and sweaty and lit like a club.
