A tough Los Angeles detective named John Kimble (Arnold Schwarzenegger) goes undercover as a kindergarten teacher in a small Oregon town, hunting for the ex-wife and son of a drug dealer. Surrounded by finger paints, alphabet blocks, and five-year-olds who call him "Mr. Kimble," he has to pose as a patient educator. By the time he realizes the children have reshaped him more than he's reshaped them, the job has stopped feeling like a job.
