Kinds of Kindness

“We might all be in danger.”

A man who has handed every decision in his life to his employer, Robert (Jesse Plemons), wants to make one choice that is his own. Two more stories follow, each with the same actors in new roles: a policeman unsettled by the wife who came back from the sea, and a woman searching for one particular person. Lanthimos shoots them with the same deadpan stillness, Emma Stone and Plemons speaking in flat, even voices.
