King Kong
“The most exciting original motion picture event of all time.”
A tanker belonging to an oil company sails toward an uncharted island in 1976, carrying a petroleum executive, Fred S. Wilson (Charles Grodin), who is sure the fog-wrapped place is sitting on a fortune. What the crew finds instead is a giant ape, and Wilson decides he can sell that too. John Guillermin follows the long trip to New York, where Dwan (Jessica Lange) becomes the one person the ape will let near him.
