“The eighth wonder of the world.”

In 1933 New York, the producer Carl Denham (Jack Black) talks his cast and a hired ship crew into sailing for Skull Island, a place on no map. Among them are the out-of-work actress Ann Darrow (Naomi Watts) and the playwright Jack Driscoll (Adrien Brody), who never planned on leaving the city. Peter Jackson fills the island with dinosaurs and a giant ape, Kong (Andy Serkis), and he builds all of it at full scale.
