King Kong vs. Godzilla

“The Terrifying Battle Between The Mightiest Monsters of All Time!”

Mr. Tako (Ichirō Arishima) runs a pharmaceutical company that wants a giant ape to sell its product, and he sends two men to a remote tropical island to bring King Kong back. Ishirō Honda films the island village, its enormous octopus and Kong's first hostile arrival with a showman's appetite for the spectacle. It sets two monsters, one native and one released from the ice, against a Japan that has already learned to fear them.
