King of the Doormen

Seyit (Kemal Sunal) wants one thing from his job as doorman of an Istanbul apartment building: to be left alone to get by on his own slack, resourceful terms. The new superintendent has other plans and sets out to break him of the habit, which turns the building's stairwells into a contest over who really runs the place. Zeki Ökten, working with Sunal for the third time, films it as a comedy about small power.
