King Richard

“Venus, Serena and a plan for greatness.”

Richard Williams (Will Smith) has a plan for his daughters Venus (Saniyya Sidney) and Serena (Demi Singleton) that he wrote down before they were born, and he coaches them himself on public courts. Reinaldo Marcus Green follows the family as the girls begin to draw the attention of serious coaches like Rick Macci (Jon Bernthal). Richard keeps a hand on every decision, sure that nobody else can be trusted to raise champions.
