“A politician dreams of changing the world with an excellent campaign strategist behind.”
Seo Chang-dae (Lee Sun-kyun) is a campaign strategist with a gift for winning elections and a restlessness that keeps him from sitting still. In 1970, he works for the opposition politician Kim Woon-beom (Sul Kyung-gu), a man he comes to disagree with, and an offer lands on his desk that tests where his loyalty lies. Byun Sung-hyun builds the primary season from backroom meetings and long hours of planning, and keeps the camera on faces across tables.
