“Sethumadhavan is a man who lost everything...”

Sethu Madhavan (Mohanlal) is meant to become a police officer, and his father, Achuthan Nair (Thilakan), a police constable, has staked his hopes on it. Then Sethu steps into a scuffle with a local criminal to save his father's life, and what he does in that moment follows him home. Sibi Malayil keeps the film close to one young man, who wants only the life that was planned for him and finds it slipping away.
