Carley Allison (Sarah Fisher) is an 18-year-old figure skater and singer in Toronto, with a boyfriend, John (Luke Bilyk), and parents who watch every practice. Then she is diagnosed with a sarcoma so rare it strikes about one person in 3.5 billion. Sean Cisterna filmed in Carley's real house and bedroom, and the rink where she trained sits quiet in her skates and the classroom desk she leaves empty.
