“Famed Stage Hit Now Big Color Musical!”

Opening night of a musical Taming of the Shrew is under way, and the leads, Lilli Vanessi (Kathryn Grayson) and Fred Graham (Howard Keel), used to be married. On stage they play Katherine and Petruchio, and the quarrels carry over into the dressing rooms. George Sidney films the divorce as a duet, two people still tied together by every song they have to share.
