Kiss Them for Me

“They tried so hard ... so very hard ... not to fall in love !”

Three Navy war heroes arrive in San Francisco on a leave that is really a morale-building publicity tour, and the officer assigned to manage them is nursing an ulcer. Cmdr. Andy Crewson (Cary Grant) would rather slip away from him and find a good time, with Jayne Mansfield (as Alice Kratzner) among the women who turn up. Stanley Donen's film follows Andy through the party and the girls, a man who has fought a war and does not quite know what to do with the peace.
