Kissing Jessica Stein

“When it comes to love, sometimes she just can't think straight.”

Jessica Stein (Jennifer Westfeldt) is a Jewish copy editor in New York who has sat through one bad blind date after another with men. Out of patience, she answers a newspaper personal ad placed by Helen Cooper (Heather Juergensen), a gallerist in her thirties who is curious about dating women. Charles Herman-Wurmfeld sets their first meeting in the city, two women with their nerves showing, Jessica's blind-date record still hanging over the table.
