Kite

“Never underestimate a girl with nothing to lose.”

Sawa (India Eisley) finds her mother and her policeman father dead, and the only thing she knows for certain is that someone made it look deliberate. Her father's old partner, Karl Aker (Samuel L. Jackson), and a boy from her past, Oburi (Callan McAuliffe), help her go after the man responsible. Ralph Ziman, adapting the 1998 anime, keeps the action fast and the city wet.
