A rumor about a vampire in town sends Koyomi Araragi (Hiroshi Kamiya) into an abandoned building, where he finds Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade (Maaya Sakamoto) dying with her limbs torn away. Tatsuya Oishi and Akiyuki Shinbo fill the screen with dense, restless graphic design as he gives her his blood and loses his place among the living. What he is left with is a debt to a monster, and nobody to share it with.
