(2006)Directed by Raúl Ruiz97 minDrama, Romance

Vienna at the turn of the twentieth century, and Gustav Klimt (John Malkovich) is the painter whose lavish, sexual canvases have come to stand for the whole art nouveau style. Raúl Ruiz follows him through the bohemian circle that gathers around him, among them the young Egon Schiele (Nikolai Kinski) and the woman Midi (Veronica Ferres). The film keeps coming back to the women in his life, and to what each of them is allowed to see of him.
