Knight Moves

“In a game of life and death... one wrong move could be his last...”

Peter Sanderson (Christopher Lambert), a chess grandmaster in the middle of a major tournament, becomes a chief suspect when his lover is found painted up with the blood drained from her body. Then the killer phones him, urging him to work out the game, and he agrees to help the police and a psychologist, Kathy Sheppard (Diane Lane). Carl Schenkel keeps the murders mounting around the chessboard, so the doubt about Peter never lifts.
