Billy (Ed Harris) leads a traveling troupe that stages jousting tournaments on motorcycles, and he runs it like a kingdom, with himself as the king. Local police, talent agents and his own stubborn ideals keep pulling at a company that has always held together like a family. George A. Romero shot it around Pittsburgh in the summer of 1980, and the film ends on Alan (Gary Lahti), left to carry the crown.
