“All the glory and splendor of King Arthur's court”

Lancelot (Robert Taylor) is the most honored knight in Arthur's Camelot, and the one thing he wants is Queen Guinevere (Ava Gardner). Then he is forced to leave both her and the court, and the Round Table is left without its best defender. Richard Thorpe, working for MGM in CinemaScope for the first time, sets the old Malory legend against a kingdom held together by the oaths men swear.
