Knives of the Avenger

Rurik (Cameron Mitchell), a knife-throwing Viking warrior who keeps his past to himself, wants only to shield Karin (Elissa Pichelli) and her young son Moki from the regent Hagen (Fausto Tozzi), who means to take the throne and Karin along with it. Mario Bava directed, with Leopoldo Savona, and the picture moves briskly from one fight to the next. Rurik stays tight-lipped and keeps throwing, a man who cannot bring himself to explain why.
