Knockin' on Heaven's Door

Martin (Til Schweiger) and Rudi (Jan Josef Liefers) are strangers sharing a hospital room, each with a terminal diagnosis and no one left to tell. They finish a bottle of tequila, walk out in their pajamas, and steal a 1960s Mercedes convertible, aiming for the sea. Thomas Jahn sends them down the road with a pistol in the glove box and the car's real owners close behind, while the two men go on learning each other's names, fears and silences.
