Kompromat
“An ordinary frenchman trapped by the Russian state”
Mathieu Roussel (Gilles Lellouche), a member of the French institute in Irkutsk, is arrested overnight by the Russian authorities and charged with abusing his own daughter. He quickly sees it as a kompromat, a case built against him with the help of the FSB. Jérôme Salle keeps the weight on Mathieu and Svetlana (Joanna Kulig), the one person he can still lean on while he is cut off from everyone else.
