Koyla

A photograph of a king arrives in a village, and a young woman, Gauri (Madhuri Dixit), agrees to marry the man in it without ever having met him. The face in the picture belongs to Shankar (Shah Rukh Khan), the mute slave who serves Raja Saab (Amrish Puri). Rakesh Roshan sets this deception in motion, and Shankar, who cannot speak a word, has to carry it forward alone.
