Kubo and the Two Strings

Kubo (Art Parkinson) is a boy in feudal Japan with one eye and a shamisen, a stringed instrument he plays to tell stories that come to life. His mother, Monkey (Charlize Theron), raises him in hiding from the Moon King, who stole his other eye when he was born. To reclaim what was taken and break a family curse, Kubo must find three pieces of magical armor, each one guarded by a truth he has to face about the people who made him.
