Kubo and the Two Strings

“If you must blink, do it now!”

Kubo (Art Parkinson) is a young boy in feudal Japan who spins stories for his village by making origami fold and move to the sound of his instrument. When he accidentally calls up a spirit bent on vengeance, he sets out with Monkey (Charlize Theron) to learn what happened to his samurai father. Travis Knight's stop-motion adventure is about a boy who tells stories to hold his family together, and the stories he can't tell are the ones that matter.
