Kuessipan

Mikuan (Sharon Ishpatao Fontaine) and Shaniss (Yamie Grégoire) have shared everything since childhood in the Innu community of Uashat-Maliotenam, but now their futures are pulling in different directions. Myriam Verreault adapts Naomi Fontaine's novel, following the two young women as one falls for Francis (Étienne Galloy), a white man, while the other stays close to home. Mikuan has to decide how much of her life she can carry out of the place that made her.
