Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter

In Tokyo, Kumiko (Rinko Kikuchi) works as an office worker and keeps to herself, a woman worn down by her routines. She finds a worn videotape of a movie she takes for a documentary, and fixates on the scene where stolen cash is buried in North Dakota. David Zellner follows her abroad, where she is still just as set on the money, and just as alone.
